Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Jewel ("we," "us") helps people in Austin find meaningful relationships through a hand-matched introduction service. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
When you sign up, we collect your email address. If you take our compatibility survey, we also collect your survey responses and your phone number. We don't collect payment information, and we don't ask you to create an account.
How we use it
We use your email to contact you about Jewel: to follow up after you sign up, to learn more about what you're looking for, and to reach out when we have something relevant for you. We don't sell your information or share it with advertisers.
Text messages
We only send text messages to people who explicitly opt in. The opt-in is separate from signing up and is clearly presented, so it is never buried in fine print or turned on for you automatically. You can reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time.
Where it's stored
Your email is stored with our email service provider, Kit, which we use to manage our list and send messages. If you take the compatibility survey, your responses and phone number are collected through Tally, our survey provider. Both handle your data under their own privacy policies.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly. If you'd like us to delete your information entirely, ask and we'll remove it.
Changes
As Jewel grows, this policy will change, and we'll update it here. If we start collecting anything beyond what's described above, we'll revise this policy to reflect that before we do.
